As a result of a deep desire to see God’s people receive and experience everything that was provided for them through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, Dr. John and Janice Bowden founded Hope Full Gospel Family Church in June of 1991.

Having this vision of seeing a generation empowered to serve God they accepted His commission and began raising up sons and daughters of knowledge. Since that time, the church has stood firm on the foundational principles of God and has been obedient to His will - effectively preaching the gospel to every creature, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, providing shelter for the homeless, visiting the (sick, shut - in, and imprisoned), making disciples of all men, and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. Many souls have been saved, many notable miracles have occurred, and many lives have been changed for the better.
